Westside Mall Is the Largest Mall in Nakuru

The Westside Mall is the largest mall in Nakuru town and surrounding areas in the rift valley region.

The Nakuru town, which is also the Nakuru County headquarters, is approximately 160 kilometers from Nairobi City and famous for its rich agricultural resources and numerous tourist attractions that make it one of the busiest economic centers in Kenya. In addition, Nakuru host lots of schools, businesses, colleges, and universities. For this reason, the town is said to have a large population density.

There are several private and public colleges and universities within Nakuru region. These include Egerton University, Kenyatta University, JKUAT Nakuru campus and others.

Nakuru town has for many years been considered as a catchment area for numerous tourism attractions. These attractions have consequently led to the development of the town as well as its surrounding environment. Covering more than 70000 square feet inside the Mall, Nakumatt Mega Supermarket provides its visitors with the best and a high-quality shopping experience.

West Side Mall also offers its visitors with banking services and has a Prime Bank branch within the complex. Visitors of the mall can also access other banking services easily and faster. Other than Prime Bank, Imperial Bank and Equity Bank have branches in West Side Mall. Some services that these banks offer are inclusive of- the opening of bank accounts, balance inquiry, cash withdrawal, cash deposits, among other services. These banks have also installed their ATM lobbies in the mall.

There is also an Aga Khan University Hospital branch in the Westside Mall to provide medical services in the region. The hospital can provide clients with diagnosis services, consultation services, and medical checkup. The Westside Mall hosts a number of businesses that provides different services that include banking, insurance, shopping, electronics shops such as Samsung, restaurants and more, hence making it a one stop shop in the region.

Naivas Mall in Nakuru town

Naivas Mall in Nakuru is located where the former Rihab Supermarket was located. With the tremendous growth of Nakuru market over the past recent years, residents have had an overwhelming demand for a presence of a place where they could get everything in one place. This demand is what triggered the opening of Naivas Mall. The mall offers its visitors with various services. For instance, with the presence of Naivas Supermarket, the Mall provides retail services to its visitors. Other than offering retail services, the mall also offers banking services, and also has an exclusive hotel where visitors can go and dine.

Imani shopping mall in Nakuru town

Constructed by the ACK church, Imani Shopping Mall is located along the Nakuru – Eldoret highway. Before the mall had even reached 60 percent complete, many investors had already booked and scrambled for space within the facility. ACK church commenced the construction of the mall back in 2012 and right now it’s complete with five storeys. One of the businesses operating in the facility is Tuskys Supermarket Nakuru store that occupies around 22000 square feet. The presence of Tuskys Supermarket in Nakuru in the region intensified its rivalry with other retailers such as Nakumatt Supermarket and Naivas supermarket. Other that Tuskys supermarket, Brade Gate Hotel and other big businesses have also opened branches in one of the largest malls in Nakuru.
