New Nairobi Parking Payment Short Code

A new Nairobi parking payment shortcode has been introduced by the Nairobi Metropolitan services. To pay for parking or other services, motorists will now dial the new code *647# instead of the older *235# which the NMS will phase out gradually.

Once you dial the Nairobi county USSD code *647#, it will display an easy to use menu where you will select the service you want. For parking, you need to provide the car registration number, type of car (saloon, bus, pickup, etc), location, etc. Please note the Nairobi parking fee varies according to the type of vehicle and is higher of bigger ones like the buses. For a small private car, the parking fee is sh200 within the CBD as well as outside in areas such as estates.
